The job
The brief
The render was chalky and streaked under every sill. The owner wanted a colour that suited the street and would hide the next ten years of weather.
What we did
A low-pressure wash, cracks raked out and filled, a sealer on the chalky patches, then two coats of exterior low sheen. We booked around two wet days and kept the front path clear every afternoon.
The finish
Five working days. The trim is a gloss white, and the door a black satin that cleans with a damp cloth.
